This website
Fonts, pictures and films on codebaytech.com are served from our own server. Three services from other companies measure visits: Google Analytics, to understand which pages are useful; Microsoft Clarity, to see how the pages are used; and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure our campaigns on LinkedIn. Each is described below.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics records how the site is used: the pages viewed and for how long, the device and browser, the approximate location and the website that referred you. It sets cookies on your device to do this, and the information is processed by Google. We never send Google your name, your contact details or what you write to us.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move through the site: where they click, how far they scroll and which pages they see. It shows this to us as heatmaps and as recordings that replay a visit without saying who made it, so we can see where the site is unclear. Anything typed into the enquiry form is hidden from the recordings. It sets cookies on your device, and the information is processed by Microsoft.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
The LinkedIn Insight Tag tells LinkedIn when one of its members visits this site, which pages they view and whether they send an enquiry. LinkedIn uses this to report on our campaigns in totals, and to let us show our own adverts on LinkedIn to people who have visited. We see only totals, never who you are. It sets cookies on your device and is governed by LinkedIn's privacy policy. Visitors in Europe are asked before any of these three services sets a cookie, and anyone can turn all three off for this browser at any time.
When you contact us
If you send the enquiry form, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we use what you send only to reply and to prepare a review or proposal, and we keep it only as long as that needs. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.
The enquiry form
The form is sent to our own server. Its check against automated messages runs in your browser as a short calculation. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and LinkedIn record only that an enquiry was sent (Google Analytics also notes which service it concerns), never what you wrote or how to reach you.
Messages sent on WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, in line with Oman's Personal Data Protection Law. Write to hello@codebaytech.com.
